"True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied."

Aadil Palkhivala

Hi! I'm excited to share my history with yoga with you and hopefully share a practice together. I took my first yoga class in 2009 with a friend. I went because I always thought of yoga as relaxing and peaceful for the mind and I thought it would help me due to my experience of just losing my closest family member. Well, to my surprise, I was not relaxed at all and I didn't revisit yoga until a couple of years later. It was extremely engaging and very hard on many muscles that I have never used, but during my break I started learning that there are many types of yoga and it struck my interest and I continued to try it out and it completely changed my life and definitely helped me with my grief. I have always liked to take a holistic approach to life and yoga enhanced that greatly. I see yoga as medicine for the body, mind, and soul, and I love to share that with others. I took a yoga teacher training program at Asheville Community yoga in 2017 and taught classes for a few years after that. I have shifted my focus to a more intimate and private approach and now offer private yoga sessions.

Please contact me to schedule an appointment for private yoga or even if you just want to gain a little more information before you begin. There is yoga for EVERY type of individual and body and I would love to customize your yoga practice!

Grooming Customers pay a sliding scale of $30-$50 for 1 hour or 1.5 hours.
